Either in a commercial setting, hotel or restaurant, or increasingly in domestic bathrooms, the humble urinal is simple to install and performs its task diligently. A quick wash down keeps the pottery clean and modern designs feature additional flushing systems such as timed functions. Most of us agree they are not pieces of artwork (Marcel Duchamp springs to mind!), but they do their job well and save space in male bathrooms compared to full WC stalls.
